...my little guy got ripped by two different people. am i supposed to be flattered? doesn't feel like it.
when i asked the first guy he said his friend saw what i drew, copied it and gave it to him. [im so sure] after that i caught him drawing more of it and he didnt have anything to say. and then one of my friends wanted to take another photo of it to tease me so he asked that guy to ask his friend to draw one. the guy who ripped said something like "okay.
ill help you draw one". (interruption my me) "oh. err. i mean. ill get my friend to help you draw one." its so blatant. and worse of all, on top of the guy he drew was a speech bubble. and there was a vulgarity in it. ohmyson. i hate him to the core. and i feel super idiotic. i shouldnt have drawn the guy for him when he asked me to.
next guy.
me: "haha. you copied me?"
him: "your ass."
maybe he didnt copy then. but somehow they look a little too similar. it looks a little blur in the pic but it was like the guy i draw with three circles for a face. said it was a scarecrow or something. and to hide the rip, he made the arms point up instead of down. he drew it for some worksheet. and the teacher put a comment there "interesting." can imagine his worksheet burning up.
i kinda thought if i was a ripper myself though. while mine might look quite abit like
hoeg's drawings, i can honestly say when my guy first started out i hadn't even seen hoeg's yet. the thing that inspired me most was the
bookitty guy's figure, which added the minimalistic part in my style. so yeah. lol. i think i sound like im talking big. or damn proud of myself or something. dunno if this post came out right. :\
people should be fined for ripping other people's creativity.
have a nice day.
-ojn.
